Small Groups

Church isn’t just about Sundays – it’s about sharing life together during the week. Small groups are where we build friendships, grow in faith, and support one another in the ups and downs of everyday life.

Groups meet in homes and other local spaces across Cardiff, usually once a week. They’re relaxed, welcoming, and a great way to feel part of the St Mark’s family. Wherever you’re at in your journey of faith, there’s a group for you.

Welcome Team

Our Welcome Team help everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive. From greeting at the door to serving tea, coffee and pastries; it’s a simple but powerful way to serve and make church a warm, friendly place for all.

Little Seeds

Every Thursday morning, during school term time, we run Little Seeds, our FREE baby and toddler group. It runs from 9:30am-10:45am.
There’s stories, songs, toys and snack. It’s totally free and very welcoming!

Kids Church

Jesus paid special attention to children and we’re blessed with plenty of them at St Mark’s! During our 10:30am service we have Mini Church for 0-3s and Kid’s Church for 4-11s.

Seedlings: We run a midweek group on Thursdays 4:30pm to 5:30pm for children ages 4-7.

Youth

Every Thursday evening we play games, do crafts, study the bible and learn about Jesus.

Shoots: Ages 8-11, Thursdays 6pm to 7pm

Roots: Ages 12-18, Thursdays 7:30pm to 9pm

Fresh Start & Free Market

A huge amount of food is wasted every day in Cardiff and we’re doing our bit to stop that and ensure everyone has enough to eat! Every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday we host ‘Free Markets’ where excess food is distributed – no questions asked. Everyone is welcome!

Before the markets open on Tuesday and Saturday we also run Fresh Start – an opportunity to have a light breakfast and a cup of something hot whilst hearing about Jesus.

St Mark’s, Gabalfa – Tuesday and Saturday, 8:30am-10:30am.
St Philip’s Tremorfa – Sundays – 3:30pm-4:00pm

Prayer

Prayer is at the heart of who we are at St Mark’s. It’s how we draw close to God, seek His guidance, and lift up our church, our city, and our world.

Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:45pm to pray together.
